The dowel-driving guns PMT-1 and PMÒ-3 are intended to drive steel dowel-nails into concrete, brickwork and low-carbon steel (max 150HB) building constructions in the process of fastening to them building components and engineer communications equipment.
The model PMT-1 differs from the model PMT-3 by the non-ramrod loading of dowels due to the modification of a tip. There is a safety device to avoid an accidental discharge when the cartridge is not rammed home into the chamber. At the customer’s request the gun can be completed with an extra-tip with enlarged area of contact with the surface. With the help of the tools it is possible to execute:
- undetachable fastening (preliminary drilling of holes is not necessary) of metal components up to 4mm thick and non-metal (wood, plastic, etc.) components from 10 up to 55mm thick to brick and concrete building constructions with the use of ÄÃ-type dowel-nails, having 8 and 10mm in diameters (with one slicked washer of diameter 12mm) and up to 80mm in total length;
- undetachable fastening of metal components up to 4mm thick to low-carbon steel constructions up to 12mm thick by means of dowel-nails with longitudinal knurling up to 30mm in length (with one or two slicked washers 12mm in diameter);
- detachable fastening of equipment executed by means of dowel-screws with M6, M8 and M10 threading, preliminary driven into brickwork or constructions made of grade up to 200 concrete.
