From 9 till 12 of March 2007 the 34th International exhibition of sporting and hunting guns, ammunition, accessories for sports, hunting and outdoor activities «International Waffen Ausstellung - 2007» took place in Nurnberg (Germany).
JSC «Tulsky oruzheiny zavod» took part in the exhibition on the united exposition of the Union of Russian Armourers.
The exhibition defined final priorities in geographical distribution of export supplies of sporting and hunting guns of TOZ, the product port-folio for 2007-2008 was formed, strategic perspectives of development and upgrading of the model range were defined as well.
From the presented models the complex of small-bore hunting carbines provoked the most interest:
- ÒÎZ-78-04L - export variant with improved stock;
- ÒÎZ-78-05(06) - «Varmint»-version;
- ÒÎZ99 - self-loading small-bore carbine.
High potential demand was revealed to the carbine with Weaver rail ÒÎZ-122-11. New bolt-action shotgun with mobile chokes ÒÎZ-124 attracted big interest as well.
During the 34th International exhibition «IWA-2007» representatives of JSC «Tulsky oruzheiny zavod» conducted 29 scheduled talks with importers from different countries, more than 70 businessmen, journalists, representatives of sporting and hunting clubs etc. visited the booth.
Representatives of companies «ASSA-POLAND», «Asetalo OY» (Finland), «Lisica» (Õîðâàòèÿ), «GROF MBM» (Serbia), «EAC» (Ukraine), «Hans Wrage» (Germany), «SSME Deutsche Waffen» (USA), «MilTrade» (Bulgaria), «Povilonio» (Lithuania), «SANTA» (Latvia), «Prima Armi» (Italy) and others conformed their wish to continue direct cooperation with JSC «Tulsky oruzheiny zavod» and made orders for 2007-2008 which exceed volume of sales to these countries in last year.
Agreements about experimental supplies were achieved with companies from USA, Hungary, Czechia, Greece as well.
TOZ sporting and hunting guns are traditionally popular in the foreign markets of their pricing and customer's niche. The potential for 2007-2008 comes up to more than 30000 shotguns and carbines.
