Double-Barrel Single-Trigger Shotgun TOZ-120 With a Low Trigger Pull And a Firing And Trigger Mechanism Eliminating Double Shots.
Many manufacturers of double-barrel single-trigger shotguns have always faced the problem of double shots happening spontaneously during the recoil and counter-recoil occurring when the gun is fired. The probability of double shots is especially high when the shotgun is equipped with a mechanism of low trigger pull.
A firing and trigger mechanism with an interceptor entirely leaving out the possibility of double shots in the double-barrel single-trigger shotgun TOZ-120 has recently been created by Tula Arms Plant.
More than 2000 shots have been carried out using the double-barrel single-trigger shotgun TOZ-120 having the trigger pull force equal to 1.7 kg. In 500 of the 2000 shots "Magnum" and high charge cartridges were employed. Fire was delivered to canopy from the shoulder, as well as from both fixed stop and recoil benches. No double shots have been recorded during the test.
The model TOZ-120 is expected to appear in the market in the 4th quarter of this year.
