9-mm Special Machine

The machine is intended for noiseless
and flameless shooting. Automatic reloading is based on the
recoil energy of powder gases. The machine carbine is intended
to engage enemy power protected with armour vests, as well as
non-armour materiel at a range of up to 400 m. Design features
of the machine carbine:
- the metal folding stock makes it possible to reduce the overall
dimensions and to deliver aimed fire both with folded and unfolded
stock,
- the silencer, which is a compulsory part of the machine carbine,
is used without replacement during the operational life of the
weapon,
- the machine carbine is designed with the mounting seats for
optical and night sights.
The advantage of this submachine gun is the use of detachable
double-column sector-type magazine with the cartridges located
in chess-board order and interchangeable with magazines of the
SR-3 and VSS articles.
The 9-mm armour-piercing cartridge SP 6 and the 9-mm sniping
cartridge SP5 are used for shooting.
It is possible to deliver both automatic and single-shot fire.
