The Kalashnikov 5,45-mm submachine
gun with folding buttstock, short-cut is an individual weapon
that is exceptionally effective in the conditions of limited
space. Small size, high hitting capability allows using it in
any extreme situation. The cartridges with conventional (with
a steel core), tracer and high-penetrating bullets are used
for firing. Reloading is carried out automatically on the base
of the recoil energy of powder gases.
The firing and trigger mechanism of a hammer type allows delivering
both automatic and single-shot fire. The folding stock is easy
to use. It makes the firing possible from any positions as well
as reduces the overall dimensions of the submachine gun. The
double-column sector-type magazine is detachable with the location
of cartridges in chess-board order. High combat durability is
guaranteed temperature range –50°С...+50°C. |
