Let’s imagine such a situation. The client has chosen a model
but after its examining, assembly/disassembly one finds out
a fault. Certainly it happens very seldom, but anyway… Shop
assistants, who are ex-workers of the plant, can remove some
roughness themselves. If it’s necessary we invite a specialist
of the plant.
When there appears a defect later, a shotgun owner should
apply us for help. We send him to the Technical Service Department.
In case the guarantee agreement hasn’t run out yet, a fault
will be removed free-of-charge, in other cases – on a universal
basis. With this connection I’d like to emphasize that the
guarantee period is rather long. TOZ has 2,5 years guarantee
period, the rest have 2 years.
In the shop there are all kinds of guns, which the plant produces,
from TOZ-34 till modern smooth-bore semiautomatic guns and
carbines. By the way I’d like to note that last year a large
German company “Hans Wrage” that trades in arms has bought
2000 TOZ-34 and 4000 small-bore carbines TOZ-78. This fact
is surely outside the shop competence. I’ve recalled it to
emphasize that the Tula gunmakers as they say were not born
yesterday and can satisfy any requirements of any demanding
client.
What models can we offer today? They are single-barrel bullet
and shot semiautomatic guns ÌC 21-12, TOZ-87 and TOZ-187 of
different modifications, hunting pump-action shotguns TOZ-94,
TOZ-194, single-barrel magazine shotguns ÌC 20-01 and TOZ-106.
Beside TOZ-78 the self-loading small-bore carbines TOZ-99
are available.
The clients often have a question – what
is the distinction in kind between TOZ-87, MC 21-12 and other
semiautomatic guns?
“The functioning of the automatic gun MC 21-12 is based on
the utilization of the long recoil of the barrel in the moment
of shooting,” said the chief designer of sport-hunting shotguns
N.V. Babanin. “TOZ-87 is the first home gas-actuated semiautomatic
gun. For the first time in the world gunmaking the parts of
a gas assembly act as an under-barrel magazine that provide
it with good balance and resistance in the moment of shooting.”
The shotguns of high quality MT-109 (over-and-under shotgun)
and MT-111 (side-by-side shotgun) meet the requirements of
hunters-experts. They are made with highly artistic hand engraving,
inlay with precious metals, ivory and unique woodcarving.
The peculiarity of the manufacturing method consists in the
fact that only one person assembles a gun from beginning to
end. A master’s name is engraved on the frame of a shotgun.
Such kind of shotguns costs more expensive.
In the main we make first of all for poor users and for the
people of moderate means. Moreover, the prices in the shop
of the house are 20-30% lower than in the other shops.
What new things can appear in the shop in the nearest future?
The new models of sport-hunting weapon are put into production.
A double-barrel over-and-under shotgun TOZ-120 and magazine
carbine TOZ-122 chambered 7,62x51mm cartridges. Their first
examples are available.
The point of making shotgun and carbine modifications for
cartridges “Magnum” and “Remington”, a hunting shotgun of
gauge 4, the new generation of self-loading shotguns and carbines
of high quality MT-125 chambered 7,62x51mm cartridges for
“Vinchester-308” are worked over.
In the shop besides sport-hunting weapon one can buy one more
product of the plant, a powder actuated tool. Recently the
new model with a cartridge PMT-1 was put into production.
The carriage of a purchase is possible. The client should
send us the license to use a gun, which is delivered with
special post later. Last year we realized about 30 orders
of that kind including Vladivostok.
